Role: Education IT Specialist
Location: Cheltenham (Hybrid working)
Salary: £35,000–£40,000

Our client, a leading technology services provider supporting the education sector, is hiring an Education IT Specialist to deliver high-quality IT support to schools and education organisations.

You’ll play a key role supporting education clients with a blend of remote and on-site IT support, helping schools maintain reliable, secure, and effective IT environments.
What you’ll do
Provide IT support to education clients both remotely and on-site
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Support and maintain Microsoft-based environments including servers and desktop systems
Assist with IT installations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with school staff
You’ll work closely with internal support teams and education stakeholders to ensure schools receive reliable IT services that support teaching and learning.
What we’re looking for
Experience delivering IT support in an education or managed services environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across desktops, networks, and Microsoft technologies
Experience supporting Windows environments, servers, and common school IT systems
Full UK driving licence and willingness to visit client sites
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
