Job Overview
UK Sires are seeking a Dispatch and Storage Assistant to provide support within their specialist germinal bovine storage centre in Bovey Tracey.
The company was estabilshed in 2002 to provide farmers with a service to enable them to collect and store semen from their own bulls. The stored semen is then distributed within the UK and the rest of the world for use in the AI industry. The business also has a retail arm allowing clients to reach a wider customer base.
Working hours are Wednesday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, with the flexibility to cover holidays and illness if required.
Responsibilities
Providing support to the stores team, this will include.
* Picking orders
* Topping up tanks with liquid nitrogen
* Communicating with customers
* Ensuring the store is organised and clean
* Accurate record keeping
Skills
Full training will be given to the right candidate demonstrating an interest and natural aptitude for this role. This candidate also requires
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Computer literacy with a knowledge of databases
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £16,224.00 per year
