Our client is seeking a talented Head of Housekeeping to lead a dedicated team. In this vital role, youll take centre stage in ensuring every space reflects the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort and care.
This is a live-in role, with on-site accommodation included where you will be at the heart of a truly unique setting, immersed in its daily rhythm and shaping its continued success.
Key Responsibilities For This Head of Housekeeping Role:
* Lead the day-to-day running and long-term planning of housekeeping across guest accommodation, public areas and event spaces
* Maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness, presentation and readiness for events
* Managing departmental budgets, stock control and procurement with a focus on value and sustainability
* Play an active role in cross-departmental planning and delivery, working closely with Events, Facilities, and Maintenance teams
* Collaborating with Events, Facilities, and Maintenance teams to ensure cross-departmental planning and delivery
* Responding proactively to guest feedback and ensuring any issues are resolved swiftly
* Recruiting, mentoring and developing a high-performing, motivated team
What They Are Looking For:
* Substantial experience in a senior housekeeping, estate management or similar operational role within a luxury setting
* A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Strong budget management and rota planning experience
* A calm and confident leadership style with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel
* Flexible, guest-focused and committed to going above and beyond
* A full UK driving licence is essential
