A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join its busy Residential Property team based in Chepstow. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and well-regarded practice.
The Role
You will provide direct support to a Senior Property Lawyer, ensuring the smooth running of a busy conveyancing caseload and delivering a first-class service to clients.
Key duties include:
* Preparing quotes, liaising with potential clients, and handling queries from first contact to instruction.
* Communicating with clients, taking instructions, and managing correspondence via phone, letter, and email.
* Supporting fee earners with all aspects of case progression, including searches, Land Registry applications, and lender communications.
* Maintaining and updating case management and lender systems to ensure compliance.
* Managing incoming and outgoing post/emails and ensuring deadlines are met.
* Preparing, closing, and archiving files.
About You
* 3+ years' experience in residential conveyancing / property law.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
* Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Competent in IT systems, including case management software.
* A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.
