Since opening over 10 years ago, we have built a loyal client base. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team and help grow our client base further. As a training practice, enthusiasm for supporting new colleagues is desirable.
Our team includes 4 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 VCAs, 3 Receptionists, and a Financial and Client Coordinator, led by our Practice Manager, providing excellent support and allowing focus on patient care.
You will join during a significant expansion that will include 2 new consult rooms, a dedicated dental and imaging suite, and a large operating theatre.
The role:
We are seeking a colleague for a full-time position (40 hours/week), with consideration for part-time. Rota includes Saturdays and Bank Holidays on a 1:4 basis; there is no OOH or on-call. Flexible working options are available. Candidates should have strong general medical skills, confidence in routine surgeries, and comfort with sole charge.
We offer a salary up to £75,000 depending on experience, a generous CPD allowance, paid professional memberships (RCVS, VDS, BSAVA, BVA), certificate funding for suitable candidates, 5.6 weeks holiday (increasing to 6.6 after 2 years), an additional day off on your birthday, and a paid lunch break.
