Overview

We are looking for a Night Care Assistant to join our team at St Anns Care Home in Kettering. The Night Care Assistant will provide the home's residents with a detailed care plan and assist with all aspects of personal care. They will ensure our residents maintain independence and dignity while using a person-centred approach to the care they provide.


Rates and Contract

Rate of Pay:

* Weekday £12.40
* Weekends £12.60

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract Hours: 24 - 36 Hours

Night Care Assistant Duties And Responsibilities

* Supporting residents with all aspects of personal care whilst maintaining and promoting independence and ensuring privacy and respect.
* To ensure the home is safe and secure throughout the night.
* Support residents with all aspects of personal care, whilst promoting and maintaining independence.
* To ensure that all night documentation is completed and signed for.


Essential Night Care Assistant Skills, Characteristics and Experience

* Communicate and interact effectively with both residents and staff.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Willingness to undertake training to develop your knowledge.
* Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of residents.
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism throughout.


Desirable

* Experience of working in a similar role or care setting.
* A relevant qualification in Health and Social care.
* A desire to develop within the role.
* To uphold confidentiality at all times.
