Assistant Project Manager – Site Investigation

A specialist ground investigation consultancy is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of projects across their growing operations. Working closely with the Project Management team and senior leadership, the Assistant Project Manager will:
6. Help oversee project delivery while supporting operational performance
7. Liaise with the team and develop client relationships
8. Contribute to project planning, managing resources and ensuring deadlines are met
9. Have a technical oversight on projects – assisting with the management of site investigation projects from planning through to completion
10. Be involved in business development
11. Review and produce technical reports
12. Mentor junior staff
Requirements
13. BSc degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
14. At least 3 years’ experience within the site investigation industry
15. Currently working at Senior Engineer level or equivalent
16. Strong understanding of health and safety within ground investigation
17. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
18. Strong IT skills and experience producing technical reports
19. Demonstrated success in a senior technical or supervisory role
