We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Administrator to provide administrative support for our Wiltshire Wheelchair Service based at Melksham Community Hospital.
This role will line management support to a small team of administrators, this will include 1:1s, undertaking appraisals and day-to-day operational troubleshooting and requiring a solution-focused approach.
The successful candidate will work closely with the team to embed and sustain processes and manage administrative functions to support effective patient care/delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator with proven line management experience to join the Specialist Services Administration Leadership Team, to help provide a positive and efficient administration support service.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will need good written and verbal communication, strong IT skills, inter-personal and administration skills with the ability to work flexibly within a challenging environment. A proactive can do attitude is required and a commitment to high quality, recognising the benefits of creativity and adaptability in a changing environment.

1. Supervisory experience in a patient/service focused environment delivering services to a number of people and managing workload priorities
2. Evidence of administrative experience within a customer / patient focused environment
3. To have worked previously in a medical, health or social care environment
4. Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality
5. Experience in waiting list management of a large referral base
6. Experience of using PAS ( SystmOne)
7. Knowledge of Information Governance
8. Experience of working with minimal supervision
9. Experience of multi-tasking and prioritising work
