Join to apply for the Student Achievement Advisor role at West Herts College. The role will be based at both our Watford and Hemel Hempstead Campuses.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with students one-on-one and in small groups to support them with: boosting their GCSE English and Maths skills, navigating exams and assessments, building up their academic, technical, and research skills, and mastering study techniques to help them succeed.
Youll be part of a supportive team that works with students from all walks of life, including those with learning needs or disabilities. Your job is to help them feel confident, capable, and ready to tackle their courses head-on.
What Were Looking For
* Youve got at least a Level 3 qualification and GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* Youre confident helping students improve their GCSE English and Maths skills.
* Youre great at motivating and engaging learners across a range of vocational subjects.
* Youre a team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
* Youve got top-notch communication skills and can connect with students, parents, and carers alike.
* Youre organised, resourceful, and always put learners first.
Additional Information
Youll also help track student progress, create tailored support plans, and work closely with curriculum teams to ensure every student gets the help they need.
