Job Title: Legal Assistant – Residential Conveyancing
Location: Broxburn, West Lothian
Job Type: Full-Time, Office-Based
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 depending on experience
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a busy Residential Conveyancing team based in Broxburn.
You’ll support Solicitors with a high volume of property transactions including purchases, sales, remortgages and transfers of title.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting Solicitors with day-to-day conveyancing transactions
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Preparing and submitting LBTT returns
* Handling registrations and post-completion tasks
* Liaising with clients, lenders and third parties
* Managing case files and ensuring accuracy throughout
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in Residential Conveyancing (essential)
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
