Urgent Care Clinical Practitioner (Nurse/Paramedic/Physio) UTC

Are you a dedicated healthcare professional seeking a rewarding opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care? Your role as a Clinical Practitioner with Nottingham CityCare Partnership will place you at the forefront of healthcare transformation. Utilize your expertise to provide high-quality care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

The Nottingham CityCare Urgent Treatment Centre is a clinician-led service offering assessment and treatment for urgent but non-life-threatening health issues.

This position is suitable for an enthusiastic, driven, motivated, and flexible registered healthcare professional with experience working independently in a first contact environment.

Flexible working is required, covering 06:45 to 22:00 daily, 365 days a year. Full-time and part-time hours are available.

The Urgent Treatment Centre is a training environment supporting the development of healthcare professionals, including student nurses, pharmacists, GP SpRs, medical students, and paramedics. It is located at Seaton House, recently modernized, with on-site X-ray facilities.

Informal visits are welcome.


Main duties of the job

Typical daily activities include:

* Working within a compassionate, professional team of clinical experts.
* Providing face-to-face assessment and care for patients with undifferentiated conditions.
* Delivering secure, efficient, and patient-centered care.
* Guiding patients through primary, secondary, and tertiary care pathways.
* Conducting clinical evaluations and supporting colleagues.
* Participating in reflective supervision led by clinical leads.


Requirements to be successful

* Registered healthcare professional (e.g., Nurse, Paramedic, ECP, Clinical Pharmacist, Physiotherapist) with current registration.
* Experience in first contact care, assessing patients with undifferentiated illnesses and injuries in primary or emergency care.
* Right to work in the UK.

Experience

Knowledge and Skills

* Experience with relevant clinical skills.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per year, pro-rata for part-time. Pay award pending.
