* Office working at CMS House, Watlington Road, Oxford. Occasional travel to other British CMS properties as required.
* Starting salary £41,795 per annum (full-time equivalent) with a generous pension contribution: up to 10 per cent employer contribution on annual salary

Your role
You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our office and reception services run smoothly, our contracts and suppliers deliver real value, and our teams and tenants have the spaces and resources they need to do their best work. From overseeing health and safety compliance to managing refurbishments and new office space setups, you’ll be at the heart of the organisation’s operational success.
You will manage a full range of facilities owned by CMS, predominantly focused on CMS House in Oxford, to be used flexibly for strategically driven services in relation to CMS’s vision and values. This role requires someone to develop and build strong team relationships throughout the organisation, as well as within a small team of direct reports. The aim is to offer a facilities service which is customer focused, professional and unobtrusive. Delivery of a quality service, which will embody the level of hospitality and welcome consistent with the CMS ethos, is a primary performance measure.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, you’ll manage a small, dedicated team and work closely with managers and directors across the organisation. Whether it’s overseeing work carried out by contractors, managing a budget, tendering an external contract or helping our staff and tenants meet their health and safety responsibilities, your work will directly support our mission and the delivery of our organisational purpose to make disciples of Jesus at the edges. What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in managing a facilities function, including managing external contractors, suppliers and budgets. You will also have people management and occupational health and safety experience.
It is also a requirement for this post holder to be a committed and practising Christian as well as committed to CMS’s values and aims.
