Location: Either Gatwick 2 days a week (1 ideally on Thursdays when not out on site) with 3 from home or at least 1 day a week in Gatwick (ideally Thursdays when not out on site) and the other day in either Brighton or London with the rest at home – please also note that this role will involve travel across the UK and Europe as required for the role.

If so, apply now as we are looking for a Video Production Manager to join our Digital Operations division, to ensure the timely creation and delivery of high-quality video, audio, and multimedia content across all brands. You will support two direct reports and manage the end-to-end production process, drive creative innovation, and optimise workflows to meet organisational goals and client expectations. You will also maintain standards, and leverage technology to improve efficiency and output quality as well as taking charge of managing the calendar of events and leading on each project to ensure success.
Please note that this is a role that works across the global business and as such recordings and other key elements of the role can be conducted outside of usual UK working hours – flexibility and the acceptance of working some shifted hours is essential.
Requirements
What you’ll be doing:
1. Leading and managing the video production team (1 Senior Video Producer and 1 Assistant Video Producer) to deliver high-quality content aligned with organisational objectives, including setting clear goals, delegating tasks effectively, fostering collaboration, and ensuring team members have the resources and support needed to succeed.
2. Promoting professional growth within the team through coaching and feedback, maintaining a positive and creative work environment, resolving conflicts promptly to keep projects on track.
3. Creating video content across all divisions / brands at William Reed.
4. Managing each project, including liaising directly with internal clients, suggesting creative solutions and working on creative video concepts, as well as managing the project events calendar, resource, stakeholders etc.
5. Advising internal clients on an appropriate creative approach to their requirement, be it video or animation.
6. Contributing to the early stages of production, both in terms of creative concept and production logistics.
7. Taking responsibility for video recording and editing of conference sessions, videos, interviews and many other types of engaging video content.
8. Conducting and facilitating interviews with internal and external stakeholders, key speakers and sponsors.
9. Recording video and audio content on location (when necessary) or remotely (via StreamYard etc).
10. Production work – operating broadcast quality cameras on location; preparing equipment for shoots, setting up lighting, shots and scenes then shooting live videos.
11. Post-Production – editing professional standard projects to completion using WR approved software such as Adobe Premier, After Effects, Artlist etc.
12. Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
13. Planning, shooting and editing video content independently and without micro-management.
14. Producing animation sequences and motion graphics in Adobe After Effects.
15. Familiarising yourselves with our in-house kit to a point of expert use.
16. Staying well organised and offering immediacy of communication to internal clients.
17. Tracking and recording of performance excellence, meeting targets and objectives.
