PPM Recruitment are currently on the lookout for Remedial Electricians for one of our clients based in Newcastle
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting remedial repairs and upgrades in various commercial and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct electrical remedial works in commercial and industrial environments.
2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
3. Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.
4. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
5. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.
Qualifications:
6. A minimum of 3 years of experience
7. City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
8. NVQ Level 3
9. 18th Edition
10. In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
11. Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
12. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
13. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
14. Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
