Permanent Full-Time Position
We are excited to offer a Full-Time Permanent position for a Level 3 Community Support Worker in our Community Living Support – Refugee (CLSR) Mental Health program based in Liverpool. Usual hours are Monday to Friday between 8am-4pm.

The Day-to-Day
1. Providing support to Participants in community outreach services to improve independence, including assistance with living skills, transport, social activities, and other supports.
2. Keeping customer records up to date using online systems.
3. Developing and maintaining professional relationships with people, families, caregivers, and stakeholders.
4. Completing risk assessments, support plans, and other documents in a timely manner.
You Are
* Punctual, friendly, outgoing, non-judgmental, flexible, persistent, empathetic, practical, balanced, compassionate, warm.
* Committed to providing high-quality mental health services.
* Experienced in working with people living with mental health issues.
What You Need to Have
* Qualification in Mental Health or Community Services, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Understanding of mental health issues affecting refugees and asylum seekers, and the effects of torture.
* Experience in mental health and community sectors, with knowledge of services, programs, NDIS, and Person-Centered Practices.
* Current Police check (within 3 months).
* Valid NSW Driver’s C class license.
* Valid First Aid certificate.
* NDIS Worker Check.
* WWCC.
* Basic skills in Microsoft Office and other systems.
* Passion, Respect, and Integrity.
