Overview
Litigation Solicitor - Job Market - Credit Hire Claims. My client specialises in delivering expert legal support to clients who have suffered injury or damage to their vehicles, with a team that understands the intricacies of motor claims, insurance disputes, and litigation. They are now looking for a skilled and driven Solicitor to join their Credit Hire Litigation team, managing complex claims from defence to resolution.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of complex Credit Hire claims from defence to trial or settlement.
* Recover outstanding damages from responsible insurers.
* Handle liability and quantum disputes, including legal research, witness statements, and rebuttal arguments.
* Prepare legal proceedings, briefs to Counsel, and court bundles.
* Attend court hearings (primarily via video link) and liaise with Barristers as needed.
* Ensure compliance with CPR rules, Pre-Action Protocols, and internal KPIs.
* Collaborate with third parties and contribute to team targets and meetings.
* Stay current with industry developments and share insights across the business.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in RTA litigation across Small, Fast, Intermediate, and Multi-Track claims.
* Strong background in complex Credit Hire and/or personal injury litigation.
* Skilled in handling cases involving fraud, fundamental dishonesty, surveillance, and expert evidence.
* Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Key Requirements
* Experience with handling liability and quantum disputes, including legal research, preparing bundles, and managing evidence such as surveillance or expert reports.
* Experience managing complex Credit Hire or RTA litigation claims (including motorcycle claims if applicable). What types of cases have you handled (Small, Fast, Intermediate, or Multi Track)?
* Post Qualified: 2 years (preferred).
