About the Job
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties:
1. Assist in the completion of Monthly Management Accounts
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
3. Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements
4. Financial reporting
5. Complete monthly VAT Returns
6. Complete Intra-Stat reporting
7. Prepare Monthly Sales reporting
8. Posting of journals
9. Weekly reporting packs
10. Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Previous Experience & Qualifications
Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or currently studying for ATI (Desirable), or Part Qual ACCA/CIMA or QBE.
