Project Manager Wealth & Financial Planning Integration | Contract | Outside IR35 We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead a major integration programme, bringing together a wealth manager and financial planning business. This is a contract opportunity with a leading firm, offered on a day-rate basis (outside IR35). The Role The Project Manager will own the delivery of scope, governance, and execution for a complex front-office integration programme. You will be responsible for leading the planning and delivery of key workstreams spanning data migration, financial planning systems, and front-to-back process integration. This role requires a high-level thinker with strong common-sense leadership, able to operate at pace while maintaining structure and control. Key Responsibilities Take end-to-end ownership of project scope, planning, and execution across integration workstreams. Lead the delivery of a large-scale data migration covering financial planning and wealth management system migration. Coordinate dependencies across technology, operations, and front-office teams. Identify and manage risks, issues, and constraints, providing proactive solutions. Engage senior stakeholders, including programme sponsors, operations heads, and system SMEs, to drive delivery. Ensure alignment across business and technology to support the successful integration of two businesses. Deliver clear project reporting, timelines, and governance updates to stakeholders. Key Requirements Proven track record as a Project Manager within financial services, ideally wealth management and or financial planning. Deep experience in data migration projects, with understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes. Strong delivery experience across front-office or client-facing integrations. Ability to work at both high-level strategy and detailed execution, with excellent problem-solving skills. Previous experience in large-scale business integration or transformation programmes. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Contract Details Location: London (hybrid working). Duration: Initial 6 months (with potential extension). Rate: Competitive, aligned with senior PM contract market rates. Engagement: Outside IR35.
