The Role
Were looking for a Machinis t to join our factory team in Gillingham, working on the production and preparation of fire doors using specialist machinery.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Contract: Self-employed for the first 3 months, with a clear pathway to a permanent position
This is a hands-on role where precision, consistency, and attention to detail are key.
What Youll Be Doing
Operating and setting up CNC machinery within a production environment
Assisting with the manufacture and preparation of fire doors
Working to technical specifications and production standards
Carrying out quality checks to ensure compliance
Supporting the team to meet production targets and deadlines
Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
What Were Looking For
Min 2 years experience operating CNC machinery within a joinery or furniture manufacturing environment
Confidence using or learning computer-controlled machinery
A quick learner with a proactive attitude
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
A reliable, professional approach to work
