Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Reading. About the Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child can reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging EYFS learning activities.
* Foster children's social, emotional, and educational development.
* Observe, assess, and record children's progress in line with EYFS requirements.
* Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals where required.
* Support children with varying learning needs to ensure inclusive participation.
Requirements
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or a related field (preferred).
* Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
