About the Role
The Senior Care Assistant will support the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care within a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
1. Monitor residents' wellbeing, noting any changes affecting care plans, ensuring needs are met, and records are updated accordingly.
2. Participate in person-centred care planning, including implementation, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
3. Support residents with medication management.
4. Undertake staff supervision and support staff development as needed.
5. Serve as a key contact point for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, addressing requests, concerns, or complaints appropriately.
About You
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability.
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
* Be effective in verbal and written communication.
* Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to a range of responsibilities.
