Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of advanced electronic security solutions for National and Critical National Infrastructure. They specialise in the design, installation, and maintenance of state-of-the-art systems such as CCTV, intruder detection, access control, and fully integrated security platforms. Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking for a talented and driven Electronic Security Installation Engineer to join their growing team
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and commission a range of electronic security systems, including:
* CCTV (IP & analogue)
* Intruder alarm systems
* Access control systems
* Intercoms and door entry systems
* Carry out system integration and testing to confirm full operational performance.
* Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
* Ensure all installations adhere to industry standards, regulations, and manufacturer requirements.
* Deliver on-site user training to clients on system operation.
* Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to support seamless project delivery.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in installing and commissioning electronic security systems.
* Strong technical knowledge of security solutions including CCTV and access control, with familiarity across key platforms such as Galaxy, Hanwha, Hikvision, and Honeywell.
* Good understanding of IP networking, system integration, TCP/IP, security protocols, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
* Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., FIA, NSI, City & Guilds, BTEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering) (Desirable)
* Experience with IP-based systems and networking. (Desirable)
* ECS/CSCS card. (Desirable)
* Water industry install experience (Desirable)
* EUSR Blue water card (Desirable)
* Security clearance (Desirable)
