About us
Judged to be a Good School by Ofsted in April 2024, we are a mixed, non-selective 11-18 Foundation secondary school situated in the market town of Aylesbury and ten minutes from the Chiltern Hills – an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are close to Oxford, High Wycombe and Milton Keynes and surrounded by delightful market towns and characterful villages. About the role
1. Required for September 2026
2. Enthusiastic and effective teacher of Religious Studies to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
3. To be able to teach Buddhism and Islam as well at KS4 is welcomed
4. The post is to cover a maternity leave and is on a maternity contract but would be for the academic year. Applications from ECTs are welcome.
5. To be part of a team, which will have an impact on students’ levels of literacy and numeracy, empowering them both within the curriculum and in their lives beyond school
6. To have a commitment to an extra-curricular programme, which supports both the academic and cultural life of the school
