Customer Technical Manager | Bakery | NPD Focus | Staffordshire - Field Based | £55,000 + Car Allowance
If you’re a bakery technical professional who thrives on product development & managing customer/supplier relations, this will be right up your street!
This role will see you become the Technical & Product Development Expert for this leading bakery ingredients manufacturer. Your role will involve a lot of customer-facing & supplier-facing work, so we’re looking for articulate professionals who can use their bakery knowledge to develop our client’s offerings.
You’ll be liaising with customers to understand their specific product challenges and then relay that information to the NPD teams across Europe in order to make any changes to product ranges or customer demands.
It’s a field-based role, so a lot of your time will be spent out visiting customers & suppliers. Ideally, you’ll be based around the Staffordshire area as this is where a good deal of customers & suppliers are based. There will be a need to visit the development head office in East Midlands a few times per month so share ideas and successes.
For the right person, the role offers a lot of development as you help our client maximise their customer & supplier relations and fine-tune their bakery product range.
What will you need?
* Customer-facing technical management experience
* Knowledge of bakery – industry, processes, products
* Exposure to product development
