Join our team as a Transport Administrator to support the Central Distribution Transport Manager and Supervisor. Your role will be crucial in creating all the necessary documentation to smoothly and efficiently deliver goods to our warehouses and stores. You'll be instrumental in providing daily operational support to ensure our fleet is used to its fullest potential, while also seizing every opportunity for cost savings.
*Competitive salary: £12.71 hourly rate
*Work hand-in-hand with our maintenance provider to ensure our trucks and trailers are serviced and MOT`d on schedule. You'll also keep the database updated with these records.
*Arrange for vehicle and trailer repairs with our maintenance partners, and diligently track and log all activities in our system.
*Review invoices for accuracy, generate order numbers with our Vision system, and ensure all completed work is entered into the repair log.
*Handle phone inquiries with a friendly demeanour and process any transport requests or information received.
*Make sure all necessary paperwork for drivers at branches and the DSC is ready and organized.
*Collaborate with the Fleet Supervisor to create Driver Run Sheets.
*Gather data for KPIs and ensure timely reporting as per the schedule.
