Key Qualities We Value

1. Resilience: Supporting vulnerable children with emotional, behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD, and related challenges may test your resilience.
2. Communication: Effective communication is vital to understand and meet our young people’s needs. Good teamwork ensures important information is shared accurately.
3. Organisation: Strong organisational skills are essential to support educational activities and assist the class teacher.
4. Caring: A naturally caring and compassionate attitude is important, as our young people require the best care possible.
5. Attentiveness: Being attentive to tasks and understanding how to support them is crucial, as no two days are the same.

We provide a supportive, collaborative environment where you can flourish and find great reward in helping those who need it most.

If you want residential childcare to be a job for life, Aspris Children’s Services will help you achieve that.

Aspris is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening, including checks with the Disclosure & Barring Service and at least two references covering the last three years, from previous employers working with children or vulnerable adults.
