About Us
The Best Connection are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers on behalf of our client, a well-established and respected business within the recycling and materials sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The Role
We are seeking professional drivers with artic tipper experience who are willing to tramp out a minimum of 4 nights per week .
What You'll Be Doing
* Driving modern bulker tipper vehicles (Scania, Volvo, DAF)
* Transporting materials between sites and customer locations
* Ensuring safe, timely deliveries
* Delivering a high standard of customer service
* Working independently while maintaining communication with the operations team
Pay & Working Hours
P ay & Hours -
* £15.57 per hour
* Minimum 45 hours guaranteed per week (typical 65-70 hours)
* £25 Night Out Allowance per night- £100 for the 4 nights a week
* Overtime (Mon-Fri after 45 hours): Time and a quarter = £19.46 per hour
* Weekend rate: Time and a half - £23.36 per hour
Based on a 60 hour working week, the potential earnings would be:
* 45 hours @ £15.57 = £700.65
* 10 hours @ £19.46 = £194.60
* 6 hours @ £23.36 = £140.16
* Night out = £100
Total potential weekly earnings: £1,135.41

Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Minimum 1 years experience
* Maximum 6 penalty points
* Must be 25 years or older
* Previous artic tipper experience preferred (training available)
* Flexible and willing to tramp (minimum 4 nights per week)
