An international FMCG organization is seeking a Compliance Counsel to support a 14-Month FTC maternity cover.
The role involves providing legal support to businesses operating in the UK & Ireland Region.
The position is based in West London with a hybrid working model.
Salary range: £55-65K
Requirements: Availability on short notice.
The role includes:
1. Managing legal risk and compliance for the UK & Ireland Region, overseeing compliance queries, and maintaining the legal compliance platform.
2. Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements such as distribution, supply, sales, IT, procurement, and supply chain agreements.
3. Applying Governance, Risk, and Compliance standards.
4. Developing in-house training on compliance topics like Anti-trust, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Modern Slavery, dawn raids, Data Protection, GSCOP, and other Group policies.
Ideal candidate:
* UK qualified or with significant UK experience.
* 2+ PQE in-house experience in FMCG or retail.
* Experience in compliance and commercial contracts.
