Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Waste Removal
* Sweep and clean outdoor public areas to remove litter, debris, leaves, and waste, including:
o Streets and walkways
o Areas adjacent to highways and properties such as backings, channels, footways, planters, shrubbed areas, and grass verges
* Empty public litter bins
* Clear dog waste from public areas
* Remove illegal dumping (fly-tipping)
Operational Support
* Support other departments in resolving issues and responding to emergency incidents, including:
o Working withCity Wardensto identify evidence linked to fly-tipping reports
o AssistingHighways teamswith snow clearance, flood response, and other road cleaning operations
