About the Role
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care within a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring residents' wellbeing, noting changes affecting care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementation and monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
* Serving as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests and concerns are addressed appropriately.
About You
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Support and nurture residents and staff positively.
* Be responsive and flexible to various responsibilities.
