TML Recruitment is partnered with a leading UK-wide property practice in their search for a candidate to join their Infrastructure Services division. The division helps deliver projects to build sustainable and durable infrastructure across the UK for clients in sectors including electricity, gas, water, fibre optics, oil, and renewables.
Our client values understanding their clients’ specific needs, industry developments, and maintaining a professional team while continuously developing systems to ensure high-quality service delivery. The role involves varied responsibilities, including project management from routing through to construction and completion, as well as providing consultancy services related to benchmarking, procedures, and management systems.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
1. Offering specialist advice and overseeing infrastructure projects locally and at scale, working with key clients in sectors such as electricity and water on major infrastructure projects and asset management programs.
2. Providing land consultancy support across various projects, including maintaining existing infrastructure and installing new assets.
3. Delivering strategic guidance and professional assistance to clients in their dealings with landowners.
4. Undertaking land referencing, preparing and serving statutory notices, negotiating compensation agreements, and acquiring rights to enable project completion.
5. Supporting clients with major connection customers to drive customer-focused infrastructure developments and maintain strong relationships.
6. Engaging with landowners and responding to public inquiries.
7. Keeping clients informed with regular project updates and progress reports.
8. Assisting clients in procuring additional professional services, such as environmental and ecological assessments and strategic planning.
9. Providing support to the client’s legal team on relevant matters as needed.
10. Collaborating with the office Partner to strengthen existing client relationships, develop new opportunities, and broaden service offerings.
11. Contributing to wider business initiatives and ad hoc projects.
12. Coaching and mentoring graduates within the team to help them achieve their professional goals.
13. Proactively engaging in training and professional development to enhance expertise, support the team, and expand role capabilities.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SELECTED?
* MRICS or AssocRICS qualifications (preferably)
* Strong project management skills
* Excellent IT skills
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with confidence to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels
* Ability to self-manage to meet deadlines
* Experience in building strong, lasting relationships, networking, and promoting the business
* Excellent people skills with the ability to influence decisions
