Area Sales Manager – Social Housing (Specification Sales)
📍 Field-based - Yorkshire and North East
If you know how to win work in social housing, this one’s worth a look. We’re working with a well-established, growing manufacturer in the building services space, looking to bring in an Area Sales Manager to drive specification-led growth across the social housing sector.
What you’ll be doing:
* Building relationships with councils, housing associations, contractors and framework partners
* Identifying and developing opportunities across planned works, retrofit, refurbishments and new build
* Securing specifications through a consultative, technical sales approach
* Supporting customers with solutions around damp & mould, indoor air quality, compliance and energy efficiency
* Managing projects from early engagement through to order and completion
* Delivering presentations, CPDs and training sessions
What you’ll need:
* A track record in specification sales / business development (ideally 5+ years)
* Experience working within social housing, construction, HVAC or building products
* Strong commercial instincts and the ability to open doors and win work
* Confidence dealing with multiple stakeholders across technical and commercial teams
* A proactive, self-starting approach
What’s on offer:
* Salary - Up to £55k
* Uncapped commission - £80,000-£100,000
