Position: Site Supervisor – Carmountside Primary Academy
Hours: 20 hours per week (4 hours per day), hours to be agreed, throughout the whole year
Grade: Level 5
Salary: Actual starting salary £13,800
The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly skilled, and well-motivated Site Supervisor to join our hardworking and committed team at Carmountside.
Job Purpose
To assist in the maintenance and security of the school premises and site, ensuring a safe working environment, as directed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Keep records relating to maintenance and security.
* Perform duties in line with health and safety regulations (COSHH) and report hazards.
* Undertake general portage duties, including moving furniture and equipment.
* Undertake minor repairs and maintenance of buildings and site, including replacing consumables like toilet rolls, soap, towels.
* Operate systems such as heating, cooling, lighting, and security (including CCTV and alarms).
* Receive deliveries to the school site.
* Maintain plant equipment as per procedures, e.g., lubrication of heating pumps.
* Collect and assemble waste for collection.
* Periodically clean designated areas of the school building and grounds.
* Assist with maintenance of specialised equipment following training.
* Undertake lettings and related tasks per agreements.
* Act as a designated key holder for emergency access.
* Coordinate with contractors regarding premises-related work.
* Organise testing for asbestos and other safety procedures.
* Perform any other duties appropriate to the post.
