Role: Digital Innovation Manager
Location: Wales
Hybrid: Yes (mostly remote)
Day rate: £350-500pd (tbc)
Introduction
This is an excellent interim opportunity that sits within a national organisation supporting innovation and improvement across Wales. The role focuses on how digital innovation can enable strengths-based, person centred care, working closely with partners across health, support, academia and the wider innovation ecosystem. The post operates on a hybrid basis across Wales.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the design and delivery of a strategic approach to digital innovation
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional and UK wide partners
3. Provide evidence based advice and insight on digital innovation to support policy, practice and service redesign
4. Lead and manage digital innovation projects, including timelines, stakeholders and outcomes
5. Support procurement activity linked to digital innovation initiatives and supplier engagement
Requirements
6. Strong experience leading digital or technology enabled innovation projects within public sector environments
7. Deep understanding of the digital and policy landscape in Wales, including co-design and co-production approaches
8. Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships and influence at senior level
9. Confident project manager with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a complex stakeholder environment
