Intapp are looking for an enthusiastic individual for this position as part of our software QA Automation team. Working with all of our key products, you will have the chance to make a real impact on the business by developing Automation test scripts to ensure that our software performs at an optimal level prior to customer release. As a member of the Automation Test Team, you will be working in a collaborative environment with developers, designers, and project manager. The nature of our work requires excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic approach to problem solving and teamwork. As this is a new automation team, you would also be required to mentor junior members of the team. You should also be self-motivated and self-starter (flexible/adaptable). Able to use initiative and investigate functionality, work with Developers and Product Manager to ensure features are fully tested with the ambition to continuously improve and a positive outlook on work and the activities presented
What you will do:
1. Design test scripts for automation for regression and new features
2. Execution of automated test scripts
3. Participate in various meetings such as daily catchup’s, planning, bug scrubs, retrospective’s
4. Identify, track and manage defects through to closure of the testing lifecycle
5. Contribute to test planning, designing and estimation
6. Creating/maintaining test environments/test data
What you will need:
7. Qualified to degree level in Computer Science (or relevant subject) and equivalent of 5 year’s experience as a QA Automation Engineer
8. Experience in designing and implementing modular and reusable automated test scripts using Selenium and Postman
9. Strong programming experience with C# and javascript
10. Knowledge of BDD and TDD focus on automation and understand Microsoft tech stack
11. Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Development
12. Experience of managing pipelines and working with version control systems (e.g. Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
13. Experience of load/stress/performance testing and creating Powershell scripts
14. ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in Testing a plus
15. Excellent time management skills
16. Experience of Agile methodology
17. Experience of test management tools
18. Team player/ collaborative with good communication skills
19. Experience in Mobile test automation
