Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our team and drive business growth through maximising existing account relationships and managing all inbound sales opportunities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence while maintaining the high standards of technical service our clients expect. Key Responsibilities Account Management * Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients across defence, telecom, research, medical, and aerospace sectors * Identify opportunities for account growth and cross-selling within current customer base * Conduct regular account reviews and develop strategic account plans to maximise revenue potential * Provide consultation and product recommendations to meet specific customer requirements Sales Development * Manage and respond to all inbound sales inquiries and leads * Qualify prospects and convert opportunities into sales * Prepare detailed quotations and technical proposals * Negotiate pricing and contract terms within company guidelines Technical Support * Provide technical guidance on RF and Microwave components and cable solutions * Collaborate with technical team to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and met * Support customers with application-specific solutions and troubleshooting Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field * Minimum 1 year of experience in electronics sales or account management * Demonstrated knowledge and experience with RF/Microwave components and systems * Strong understanding of technical specifications and applications in target industries * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Technical Skills * Familiarity with RF/Microwave test and measurement equipment * Understanding of component specifications including frequency ranges, power handling, and impedance matching * Knowledge of cable assemblies, connectors, and passive components * Experience with technical documentation and specification interpretation Professional Skills * Excellent communication * Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Customer-focused approach with attention to detail What We Offer * Competitive salary with performance-based incentives * Comprehensive benefits package * Opportunities for professional development and industry training * Dynamic work environment with exposure to cutting-edge technologies * Career advancement opportunities within a growing organisation Location and Travel This position is based at our headquarters in Edinburgh with occasional travel required for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
