Cover Supervisors needed Secondary Schools across West Yorkshire Required from September 2026We are currently seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis in secondary schools across West Yorkshire, starting from September 2026.This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, flexibility, and supporting students' learning in a classroom setting.The RoleAs a day-to-day supply Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. Duties include:
* Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain on task
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Providing a calm, positive, and productive learning environment
* Supporting students with their work where appropriate
* Adapting to different schools, subjects, and age groups (KS3 and KS4)
Work can range from single-day cover to short-term assignments, depending on school requirements and your availability.The Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with young people in a secondary school or similar setting (desirable)
* Confidence in managing classroom behaviour
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A flexible, professional, and reliable approach
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Degree-level education or relevant experience (preferred but not essential)
