An innovative secondary school in Newham is seeking a creative and energetic Music Teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2026. Responsibilities
* Teach Music across KS3 to KS5, balancing performance skills with written theory and composition.
* Oversee and direct school ensembles, choirs, and extracurricular music clubs.
* Build student confidence and communication skills through inclusive and challenging lessons.
* Work collaboratively with the wider Creative Arts team on school-wide festivals and projects.
* Manage the department budget for instruments, software, and visiting professional workshops.
Requirements
* Degree in Music or a related field.
* PGCE or QTS.
* Experience directing or coordinating school-wide performances is highly desirable.
* Must have the right to work in the UK.
