Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS) Location: Worksop (S81) Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day Supply Are you confident, adaptable, and comfortable leading a classroom when regular teaching staff are unavailable? GSL Education are appointing Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Worksop, particularly within the S81 district, offering flexible opportunities for a Cover Supervisor to help maintain learning continuity during short‑term absences. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will oversee pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes using work provided by teaching staff. Maintain a calm, orderly, and respectful learning environment. Encourage pupils to stay on task and complete set activities. Follow school policies, routines, and safeguarding procedures. Provide brief feedback to staff on pupil engagement when required. Requirements: Previous experience working with young people, or a relevant degree-level qualification. Confidence managing behaviour and communicating clearly in the classroom. Flexibility and reliability when working across different school settings. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). The ability to step into the role of Cover Supervisor with professionalism and initiative.
