Grounds Maintenance Operative

Seasonal contract until October 2026
£25,396 per annum
Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team primarily covering the North Devon and Torridge area. This is a 40 hour per week seasonal opportunity working Monday to Friday on a fixed term contract until 30th October 2026.
You will work as part of a small team, mowing and strimming grass, weeding, ground clearing and hedge cutting to a consistent high standard in the North Devon and Torridge area.
Duties include maintaining your equipment, meeting deadlines, completing worksheets, adhering to company policies/procedures and health and safety at all times. Some manual handling and ladder work may be required within the role.
Is this you:
Experienced with the upkeep of grassed areas and borders by mowing, edging, raking, digging, weeding, pruning and litter picking etc
Experience of maintaining hedges
Experience within a Grounds Maintenance environment and associated equipment
Planning and prioritising skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent Customer Service / Communication skills
Able to work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
