Overview
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing engineering business developing next-generation high-power DC charging systems for commercial electric vehicles.
You'll work on complex electro-mechanical and thermal systems, taking designs from concept through prototype and into pre-production. Ideal for engineers with strong CAD, thermal management, liquid cooling and electro-mechanical design experience.
The Role
1. Lead mechanical design of high-power charging systems (350kW-1MW+)
2. Create concepts, detailed designs and prototype assemblies
3. Design liquid cooling systems, heat exchangers and thermal management solutions
4. Produce CAD models, drawings and engineering documentation
5. Complete feasibility studies, packaging and system integration
6. Support prototype builds, testing and commissioning
7. Improve manufacturability (DFM/DFA) and product reliability
