Location: Remote (1 day a month at Leeds or London HQ)

About the Role
WRK digital are proud to partner with a leading consultancy delivering innovative solutions in the tech-for-good space. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join the team on an inside IR35 contract. This role will focus on designing and developing high-quality Salesforce solutions to support critical projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Visualforce.
* Configure Salesforce features including workflows, validation rules, flows, reports, and dashboards.
* Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools.
* Implement data models, custom objects, fields, and security configurations.
* Write unit tests ensuring high code coverage and compliance with Salesforce best practice.
* Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards.
* Support deployments using Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, and change management processes.
* Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
* Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Product Owners, and business users to refine requirements.
* Maintain technical documentation and solution designs.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with strong knowledge of Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
* Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and customisation.
* Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and sharing rules.
* Experience with API integrations and middleware tools.
* Familiarity with Salesforce DX, CI/CD, and deployment best practice.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable
* Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator).
* Experience with Aura Components and Platform Events.
* Knowledge of DevOps tools and automated testing frameworks.
