The team advises on projects that often involve political sensitivity, heritage constraints and significant stakeholder engagement —requiring a planner who can balance technical credibility with commercial understanding.</p><h3>The Role</h3><p>As Associate Planner, you will combine project leadership with team mentoring and commercial responsibility.</p><ul><li>Leading major residential and mixed-use planning strategies</li><li>Managing key client relationships and ensuring repeat instructions</li><li>Overseeing Local Plan submissions and strategic land promotion</li><li>Leading appeal strategies and coordinating inquiry teams</li><li>Supporting and mentoring junior planners and mid-level staff</li><li>Managing project budgets, programmes and consultant coordination</li><li>Supporting fee proposals, tenders and business development activity</li><li>Ensuring quality control across major planning submissions</li></ul><p>This is a role for someone who wants influence, visibility and progression.</p><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Strong consultancy or developer-side planning experience</li><li>Proven ability leading complex planning applications and strategy work</li><li>Strong client management and stakeholder negotiation skills</li><li>Commercially driven mindset and interest in business growth
