JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a teacher to lead and deliver outdoor learning and wider achievement opportunities within our Supported Learning Centre. The successful candidate will further develop our outdoor curriculum and deliver classes to pupils from the SLC and the whole school. Responsibilities include organising, planning, and delivering outdoor classes. The candidate will work with groups/classes of pupils from S1-S6, delivering BGE Curriculum and National qualifications, such as Rural Skills, outdoor science curriculum, forest school, and wider achievement opportunities like Duke of Edinburgh, cycling proficiency, and John Muir Awards.

The successful candidate must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland and can be either primary or secondary qualified.

REQUIREMENTS
This post involves Regulated Work with children as per the PVG Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join or update their PVG Scheme membership before a formal offer. Further information is available at Disclosures Scotland. You may be required to cover PVG costs.

The grade is Main Grade - Point 0-5.
The work style is Frontline.
