Logistics Manager – International Supply Chain | London | Mandarin Speaker
Ready to take ownership of a fast-moving logistics function in a rapidly growing business? This international food manufacturer is expanding their London-based logistics operation and looking for a Mandarin-speaking Logistics Manager to help drive their global growth.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment—perfect for someone who thrives on structure, loves problem-solving, and is confident managing international shipments across road, air, and sea. You’ll play a key role in scaling operations, improving systems, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
Fluency in Mandarin/Chinese is essential, as you’ll be communicating regularly with overseas teams and suppliers.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Overseeing transportation and freight activities aligned with customer service requirements
* Ensuring timely, accurate deliveries across domestic and international supply chains
* Standardising and improving internal logistics processes
* Managing a small logistics team and supporting day-to-day operations
* Maintaining compliance with health and safety standards
* Creating spot quote pricing and identifying cost-saving opportunities
* Applying problem-solving tools and implementing improvements
* Delivering top-tier customer service and managing assigned accounts
* Tracking shipments, overseeing stock accuracy, and keeping customers informed
* Inputting data, generating invoices, and meeting reporting standards
* Collaborating across departments with clear, regular communication
What They’re Looking For
* Fluent in Mandarin/Chinese – essential for daily communication with international partners
* 3+ years in logistics or supply chain management
* Experience with road, air, and sea freight
* Solid understanding of international logistics and supply chain practices
* Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal
* Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
* Confident user of MS Excel and logistics systems
* Independent, proactive, and able to prioritise workload effectively
* Enjoys working in a small, collaborative team environment#

* Salary: up to £65,000, depending on experience
