My client is an established, reputable, customer-centric Financial Services business, specialising in the provision of finance to businesses across the UK. The business has been around for over 30 years with a small team and an inclusive and supportive culture. They are now looking for a detailed-orientated and proactive Operations Assistant to join their team based near Knutsford. You will support their growing operations team and you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative processes and delivering exceptional service to their clients and partners. This is a fast paced role working deadlines so requires good verbal and written communication, numeracy and organisation skills. Full training will be provided but we are looking for someone with either direct relevant skills or transferrable skills. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the operations and sales teams. Assist with the management of inbound and outbound correspondence including emails, post, and telephone calls. Prepare and process documentation for client finance applications and partner agreements. Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems in line with GDPR and internal procedures. Assist with the review, development and mapping of business processes. Assist with onboarding new clients and partners, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant. Coordinate diaries, book meetings, and prepare agendas or presentations when required. Support compliance and regulatory checks, including KYC and AML documentation reviews. Assist in producing reports and monitoring the progress of client applications. Carry out general office duties including filing, photocopying, and ordering supplies. Key Skills/Behaviours: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure. Professional telephone manner and customer service approach Be hard working, proactive and enthusiastic.
