Head of Facilities & Operations
The CBSO, in partnership with Ikon Gallery, is searching for a Head of Facilities & Operations.
This exciting new role will work directly for the CBSO, and via a Service Level Agreement for Ikon Gallery, overseeing and developing facilities and operations at two busy Birmingham cultural buildings, separated by a five‑minute walk.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and develop facilities and operations at two cultural buildings.
* Lead a Facilities & Operations Team, ensuring excellence in a dual‑location context.
* Co‑operate with executive management and staff of both organisations.
* Plan operations, health & safety, and customer service.
* Manage people and budgets effectively.
Qualifications:
* Strong leadership ability and energy for problem solving.
* Keen understanding of operational planning, health & safety, and customer service.
* Excellent people management and budget management skills.
