Main Responsibilities:
* Perform DIY and general maintenance tasks across all sites, including our Area Offices and Supported Accommodation Homes. These areas include both Swindon and Bristol.
* Complete maintenance tasks such as painting and decorating, repairing damages, basic carpentry and joinery (including locks), assembling and moving furniture, and adjusting windows and handles.
* Clear blockages and remove foreign matter from sinks, toilets, drains, and kitchen grease traps, ensuring safe and hygienic disposal of waste materials.
* Clean and maintain all tools and equipment after use.
* Conduct routine repairs and maintenance, health and safety checks, and routine driving.
* Adhere to our Health and Safety Policies.
About You:
Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends and be responsive to the needs of the company
* Organised and structured, able to follow a work schedule and use a booking system for tasks.
* Able to prioritise and work under pressure.
* Hold a full driver's license.
* Kind, compassionate, and comfortable working in a Supported Accommodation environment.
* Experience of maintaining and repairing electrical and plumbing systems.
* Able to perform preventative maintenance on equipment and buildings.
* Undertake regular checks within properties.
* Knowledge of COSHH requirements.
Working Hours:
* 40 hours per week flexibly to include some weekend work as required for the business needs.
