Legal & Compliance Assistant – London | Hybrid | £35,000 - £40,000
Our client, an established and highly regarded City financial institution with a global profile, is seeking a Legal & Compliance Assistant. This is a busy and wide-ranging role, supporting the Head of Compliance and ensuring that the Compliance & Legal Department runs as smoothly as possible.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and proofreading documentation
* Communication with other global offices
* Filings to Companies House
* Undertaking Legal research
* Preparing Board packs, minuting board meetings, and circulating board resolutions
* Undertaking KYC checks
* Preparing Presentations
* Drafting and negotiation of contracts
What we’re looking for
* A Minimum of 12 months experience working within a Legal/Compliance department within a Financial Services organisation
* A graduate in Law or a related subject or possessing similar level of qualification.
* Passion for legal and regulatory work
* Ability to manage a varied workload in a deadline driven environment.
* MS Office skills
* A Team player who can also work autonomously
