Description This is a great opportunity to kick‑start or grow your career in Product Management within our Retail Savings team. As an Assistant Product Manager in the Savings Delivery team, you’ll support our Product Managers with the day‑to‑day management of our Savings products, working on key initiatives such as pricing changes, and helping us continually improve the systems and processes that shape our future success. Responsibilities What you’ll be doing As an Assistant Product Manager within Retail Savings, you’ll work closely with Product Managers on key Savings initiatives, helping to develop and deliver plans that improve member outcomes, support our trading goals, and simplify the way we work. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the Society to bring our strategy to life, providing product expertise, supporting major projects, and building a strong understanding of our policies, processes and systems to ensure robust controls are in place. You’ll also help maintain our Savings product book by coordinating essential Run-the-Business activities, and partner with teams such as Communications, Digital, Retail and Risk to resolve issues when they arise and help design the controls needed to prevent them in the future. About you We’re looking for someone who brings the following skills and experience: Recent experience working with Savings products, processes and systems Strong Excel skills, with the ability to work confidently with complex data (including pivot tables, macros and ideally Power BI), plus good working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word A proven ability to deliver high‑quality work while managing time pressures Experience supporting project delivery or small change initiatives Strong relationship‑building skills and the confidence to communicate effectively The ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities A numerical and analytical mindset, with a natural aptitude for problem‑solving Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together.
